• You didn’t receive an economic stimulus check last year
• You didn’t receive the Maximum rebate payout in 2008 which was - $600 for individual tax payers and $1200 if you married filing jointly – because your gross income may not have been the right qualifying amount
• Your family expanded in 2008 with an additional qualifying child
• You were claimed as a dependent on another person’s 2007 tax return. But for 2008, you cannot be claimed as a dependent on anyone else's tax return
• You did not have a valid Social Security Number in 2007 but you received one in 2008
